 It's All About the Music!

Purpose

Our mission is to bring the spiritualizing force of music to our community and our nation.

An annual scholarship is awarded to a Tarleton State University music student chosen by the faculty and staff of the Department of Fine Arts.

What We Do

Our monthly meetings are at noon on the second Thursday of each month September through May. We have a themed program and a pot-luck luncheon and welcome visitors to join in the fun.

An annual Valentine Musicale is held each February and we offer programs to local clubs and organizations. The 2024 event was held on February 11, 2024 in the Cross Timbers Fine Arts  Council building in downtwon Stephenville.

Our first gospel music festival was held on October 14, 2023 at the Stephenville House Museum in the historic Chapel on the Bosque. It was a resounding success and enjoyed by many people. Another festival is in the planning stages.

Brody Custer and his friends performed at the April 2024 club meeting. The Jazz trio blew the audience away and got a standing ovation.
